Defiance's Theme, the Main Theme, and the Love Theme can be heard in this track. This song was written when From The Lake was still a rock opera, though it was cut from the tracklist not long after it was written. When the direction switched, I reworked the piece somewhat.

Defiance seems to back and after Persephone gets past the shock and then the extreme joy at seeing her beloved sister again, she begins to feel unsettled. How is she back? Persephone saw Defiance in the casket and saw it lowered into the ground. Defiance is acting strangely, as well. She smiles but it seems hollow. She has no appetite. She has no interest in seeing Catastrophe, her fiance, again. Persephone insists that she must because he will find out that she is back sooner or later.
