about

The Main Theme, Defiance's Theme, the Love Theme, The Angel's Theme, Peresphone's Theme, and Catastrophe's Theme can all be heard in this piece. This was originally the 4th track I had ever written for the album, though I knew at the time that I wanted it to be the last. It was originally titled "From The Heavens to The Lake".

Persephone is shocked to see Catastrophe and Defiance, but knows immediately they're dead. It's their spirits, and she's happy to see that Defiance has escaped whatever fate had befallen her, but simultaneously saddened to see that her sister and Catastrophe are truly dead. They warn her that The Fat Man is coming, and he's close. Persephone begins to run from her home, but The Fat Man is not far behind. A chase ensue. The Angel emerges from Heaven's mist, and rains fire down destroying Pinkerton. The Fat Man turns into a pile of smoldering ash and burns eternally. The only one spared was Persephone, who dances on as Defiance and Catastrophe become one in eternity.
