Graveyard was the very last track written. I decided a bit of a buffer was needed between Dearly Beloved and A Deal With Mephistopheles due to the intensity.

This track is about Defiance's funeral. The music played by the piano and cello are emotional, but the drones and bowed percussion often overshadow the more traditional aspects of the music creating a bit of a numbing effect - until the end when the emotions can't be held back any further.
